This guide is brought to you by Arslan Stonex — a natural stone supplier, marble showroom, and marble & granite supplier based in Kishangarh, Rajasthan. We have been supplying premium quality stone across India since 2015, working with builders, architects, hotel developers, and contractors from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
Pebble stone is one of those materials that does not need much convincing. Walk into any well-designed garden, resort bathroom, or hotel courtyard in India today — chances are, there are pebbles on the floor or walls. It is natural, affordable, and genuinely timeless.
We deal in all types of natural stone at Arslan Stonex — Italian marble, Indian granite, sandstone — but pebble stone has its own loyal following. In this guide, we are sharing everything you need to know before buying: types, applications, price, and what to watch out for.
90 Ton
Recently completed: 90 ton pebble stone supply to Ludhiana, Punjab. Large-scale project delivery, on time, with full GST documentation. We handle bulk orders pan India — no minimum too big, no project too far.
Pebble stones are naturally rounded, smooth stones sourced from riverbeds, streams, or open quarries. Size ranges from roughly 10mm to 100mm depending on the application. Unlike marble or granite, pebbles go through no cutting or polishing process — they are used in their natural form. Every piece is slightly different in shape and tone. That natural variation is exactly what makes them beautiful.
In India, pebble stone is primarily sourced from Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and various riverbed regions. At Arslan Stonex, we source directly and supply in bulk — which means consistent quality and no middleman markup.
Six types see the most demand across residential, commercial, and landscaping projects in India:
White Pebble: Highest demand, best for modern and Zen look
Black Pebble: Premium look, popular in spas and luxury interiors
Brown / Tan Pebble: Earthy tone, ideal for gardens and driveways
River Pebble: Mixed colors, from riverbeds, most affordable
Green Pebble: For decorative planters and indoor landscaping
Red / Pink Pebble: Trending for pathways and garden borders
If you are unsure which type suits your project, feel free to WhatsApp us. We regularly guide architects and contractors on selection — it is part of what we do at Arslan Stonex.
Garden Landscaping: Around plant beds, along pathways, and on lawn borders — pebble stone covers soil, blocks weeds, and keeps the garden looking maintained without ongoing effort. One of the most common uses we supply for.
Bathroom Flooring & Walls: Pebble stone in bathrooms provides natural grip in wet conditions. Spa-style bathrooms in hotels and luxury homes use it extensively on both floors and accent walls.
Swimming Pool Surrounds: Pool decks and walkways around pools need a surface that handles water, heat, and bare feet. Natural pebble does all three without looking industrial.
Driveways & Pathways: Loose pebble gravel driveways are low maintenance and handle Indian monsoons well because water drains through naturally — no pooling, no cracking.
Hotel & Resort Interiors: Lobbies, Zen gardens, open courtyards — pebble stone has become a standard in hospitality projects across India. Our Ludhiana supply of 90 tons recently went to a large hospitality project in Punjab.
Indoor Planters & Feature Walls: Small decorative pebbles work beautifully as top dressing in indoor planters, as aquarium substrate, and as texture on feature walls.
Construction & Aggregate: Smaller pebble aggregate is used in concrete mixes, drainage layers, and as base material below flooring in foundation work.
Start with a properly waterproofed surface — this step cannot be skipped. Lay a cement bed, press the pebbles in while the mortar is still wet, and make sure each stone is seated firmly with no gaps underneath. Once set, apply unsanded grout between the pebbles and wipe clean before it dries. Seal the surface after 48 hours. The whole process is straightforward — the only thing that matters is getting the waterproofing right before anything else goes down.
100% Natural: No chemical treatment, no artificial coating. Genuinely eco-friendly.
Zero Maintenance: No maintenance after installation. Clean with water. That is it.
Anti-Slip: Textured surface naturally grips in wet conditions — bathrooms, pools, monsoon pathways.
Drains: Water passes through pebble beds easily — no waterlogging in gardens or driveways.
We deal in marble, granite, sandstone, and more at Arslan Stonex — but pebble stone has one advantage over all of them: once it is down, you do not think about it again. No sealing, no re-polishing, no cracks from thermal expansion. It is the most forgiving natural stone material there is.

Match size to application: 20–40mm works well for bathrooms and indoor use. Garden beds and planters typically use 40–80mm. Driveways and pathways need 60–100mm for stability underfoot and under vehicles.
Natural vs polished finish: Natural/unpolished pebbles are better outdoors — the rough texture provides grip. Polished pebbles are smoother and shinier, suited to indoor decor and feature walls where aesthetics matter more than grip.
Color consistency in bulk: This is where buyers often get caught out. White and black pebbles in particular show variation between batches. Ask your supplier specifically about consistency across the full order quantity — not just the sample.
Verify the supplier: GST invoice, direct sourcing, and pan-India delivery track record are the three things to check before transferring payment to any stone supplier. At Arslan Stonex, we provide full GST billing on all orders.
Order a sample first: For any bulk order — especially above 1 ton — always get a physical sample before confirming. What looks good on screen or in photos may differ in person, especially for mixed river pebble.

Q1. Is pebble stone safe to use in bathrooms?
Yes, completely safe. The natural texture of pebble stone provides grip in wet conditions — which is actually better than smooth tiles in a bathroom. Just make sure the waterproofing and grouting are done properly during installation so no moisture seeps into the substrate beneath.
Q2. Does pebble stone help with weeds in the garden?
Yes. A 5 to 8 cm thick layer of pebbles cuts off the sunlight weeds need to grow. It will not eliminate weeds entirely, but it reduces them significantly. Laying a landscape fabric underneath before placing the pebbles adds another layer of protection and works well for most garden setups.
Q3. What is the minimum order from Arslan Stonex?
We accept orders from 50 kg onwards. Bulk pricing kicks in at 500 kg and above. We have handled everything from small residential orders to 90-ton commercial supplies like our recent Ludhiana project. WhatsApp us with your quantity and we will give you an exact price.
Q4. Do you deliver pebble stone outside Rajasthan?
Yes. We supply from Kishangarh to all major cities and states — Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, and more. Transport is arranged via road or rail depending on quantity and destination. Freight charges are calculated separately based on the location.
Q5. What is the difference between polished and unpolished pebble?
Unpolished or natural pebble has a matte, slightly rough finish — ideal for outdoor use, pool surrounds, driveways, and anywhere you need grip. Polished pebble is machine-smoothed to a shine — better for indoor decor, showrooms, or decorative feature walls where the look matters more than texture. Polished is also priced higher.
Q6. How long does pebble stone last outdoors in Indian conditions?
A very long time. Natural pebble stone handles Indian summers, monsoons, and winters without any issue. It does not expand and crack like concrete, does not rust, and does not fade in UV like most synthetic alternatives. With proper installation, a pebble stone garden or driveway can last 20 to 30 years without any major upkeep.
Q7. Apart from pebble, what other stones does Arslan Stonex supply?
We are a full-service natural stone supplier and marble showroom based in Kishangarh, Rajasthan. Our range includes Italian marble, Indian marble, granite (all varieties), sandstone, limestone, and decorative stone for both residential and commercial projects.
